American Gods :: Neil Gaiman

This was a good book. I devoured it in about two sittings. The main character sort of has things happen to him, but that did little to diminish my liking of the novel. What's it about? Put it this way... what happens to all those gods that came here with all the immigrants? What is taking the place of those gods in today's society? This novel is about these old gods, and how they are trying to deal with this displacement or usurpation by a new god. The main charatcer, Shadow, is a human witness. I'm still thinking about it....
